The History of The Founders

In 1988 we established the first ever authentic Italian wood oven restaurant located in Pulteney Street, Adelaide. Since then we have gone on to be the founders of five very successful businesses:

  • Amici Restaurant (Rundle Street, Adelaide; 1995-2000)
  • Fellini Cafe (O’Connell Street, North Adelaide; 1997-2008)
  • Brunelli Cafe (Rundle Street, Westlakes & Glynde; 2008-2017)
  • And The Schnithouses (Rundle Street & Elizabeth City Centre; 2015-2018)

Before we retire, we have decided to bring together a culmination of our bestselling dishes from our 5 restaurants, to you, our beloved customer.

What Our Customers Say

We are very fortunate to have formed excellent partnerships with many of our clients. And we’ve formed more than just working relationships with them; we have formed true friendships. Here’s what they’re saying about us.

time, and such good size serves too! I can’t go past the Wood Oven Pizzas. Best in town and so big!! Dining area and bar is great size too. Staff were busy, but friendly and accommodating the whole time. I look forward to going here again 🙂

Booked for a wake, and everything was well accommodated. Gave a rough time when people would be arriving and the tables and food were set up and ready. Staff were really helpful and polite and so much food, we took 2 pizza boxes and 4 containers away with us. On a side note, discovered that Sheepdog whiskey is so yummy.
